Design Notes
Based on [http://2010.igem.org/Team:Lethbridge/Results#Results_2 characterization on Arg-tagged fluorescent proteins] done by the Lethbridge 2010 team, it was decided that the Arg-tag on xylE would be C-terminal.

The xylE gene was PCR'd out of genomic DNA provided by David Lain Houston* with primers adding [http://openwetware.org/wiki/The_BioBricks_Foundation:Standards/Technical/Formats#BBF_RFC_23_.28aka_Biofusion.2C_Silver_lab.29 Silver Lab Biofusion Standard] prefix/suffix. A C-terminal arginine tail was then added (BBa_K249005).
